The Story Behind Liv247

Kia Ora! We are Surya and Richa, the co-founders of Liv247, New Zealand’s first app dedicated to Indian groceries.

After living in New Zealand for over 10 years, we noticed something unusual—there wasn’t a single app to conveniently order Indian groceries. Frequent trips to Indian stores often left us frustrated, with expired products and long queues adding to the stress of already busy lives.

In a country where everyone is juggling so many daily chores, we wanted to offer some convenience. This inspired us to create Liv247, an app that brings the rich flavors of India directly to your doorstep, with free delivery nationwide for Indian groceries.

Our Family & Our Home

We’re not just business partners—we’re real-life partners and proud parents to our 10-year-old son, Aggu, who keeps us on our toes and fills our lives with joy. Living in Orewa, a seaside paradise in Auckland, we’re surrounded by golden beaches, beautiful parks, and a tight-knit community. We feel so lucky to call this stunning town our home, where every day feels like a holiday.

Balancing Two Passions

Both of us are Chartered Accountants and co-founders of SRN, a Xero Platinum Partner recognized as one of New Zealand’s top 1% accounting firms. SRN specializes in helping businesses with income tax, GST, and tax advice, and has grown to serve clients across the country.

At the same time, we’re equally passionate about Liv247, a venture born out of a need we personally felt. Balancing both businesses is a challenging yet rewarding journey, and we’re fully committed to ensuring success in both while maintaining our family life in Orewa.
